In the truck and van category, the Lexus NX 300h, a hybrid, ranked as the most efficient SUV, getting a combined average 33 mpg. The Dodge Ram 1500 ranked as the most efficient standard pickup at 23 mpg, followed by small pickups the Toyota Tacoma, GMC Canyon and Chevrolet Colorado.
