Indianapolis Chrysler owner waiting to hear about recall - WISH-TV

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Chrysler is being forced to buy back hundreds of thousands of trucks as part of a massive settlement. Earlier this month, Gary Ludwick received a letter about a defective airbag in his truck. Ludwick has not been feeling too confident driving around in his 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck as of late. “You feel like you’re driving around in a death trap,” said Gary Ludwick, a Chrysler owner. Ludwick said he received a letter from Chrysler letting him know that there was a malfunction with the passenger side airbag. “I’m more afraid of driving my truck now than they would have waited until the parts came in and told me they had it and get it fixed,” said Ludwick. “Instead of sending me a letter telling me that my truck has a faulty part on it. ”. He said the American automobile manufacturer did not provide any further explanations on what to do next, except to wait for the second letter. “Until you get that second letter letting you know that parts are available now, you just have to drive around in a vehicle that you hope you don’t get hit by another vehicle,” said Ludwick. I mean the left hand has to know what the right hand is doing,” said Ludwick. Source: wishtv.com
