Is this the 2017 GMC Acadia Spied in the Wild? [Spied] - TFLcar.com
The 2017 GMC Acadia is set to be the first major redesign for the brand’s large SUV since it was launched in 2007. Is this the new model caught high-altitude testing. The Acadia debuted along with its near-twin, the now-defunct Saturn Outlook, in 2007 as GM’s first large, unibody, transverse-engined, three-row crossover. The new Acadia is rumored to use GM’s new Chi (C1XX) platform, which is a modular platform that can support different wheelbases for midsize and large crossovers. Engines haven’t been released, but many speculate that the current 3. 6-liter V-6 will be jettisoned in favor of a turbocharged V-6. Earlier this summer, the 2017 GMC Acadia was spotted testing with a trailer in northern Arizona. The photos show similar body camouflage as the the latest spotting, along with similar wheels that are also similar to the current Acadia.
