28 when the GMC Acadia driven by Christian W. Dassrath, 35, of Jefferson City failed to yield to another vehicle at the intersection of VFW Road and Witt Road, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. Dassrath was eastbound on VFW Road when his vehicle collided with a GMC 2500 driven by Eric R. Coy, 52, of Eldon. The collision caused the Acadia to go off the roadway and strike a tree.
