Des Plaines • Thieves stole 28 prescription pain medication tablets between 1 and 4 p. m. April 28 out of an apartment on the 1300 block of East Jefferson Street. • Thieves stole five metal lug nuts between 10:30 p. m. April 29 and 7 a. m. April 30 from a 2008 Chevrolet Impala on the 800 block of East Greenview Avenue. , was arrested around 4:43 p. m. April 25 on the 1100 block of West Devon Avenue and charged with resisting a peace officer. His court date is May 14. • Debbie A. Miller, 52, of the 700 block of Ridge Avenue, Elk Grove Village, was arrested around 3:05 p. m. April 24 at her home and charged with resisting a peace officer. Her court date is June 4. • Anthony F. Aiardo, 59, of the 900 block of North Rohlwing Road, Addison, was arrested around 6 p. m. April 15 at 901 Wellington Ave. His court date is May 8. • Thieves stole a laptop computer valued at $1,000 between March 26 and April 17 out of an office at ADP, 100 Northwest Point Blvd. Mount Prospect • Joshua M. Kane, 30, of the 1000 block of Carswell Avenue, Elk Grove Village, was arrested on a charge of retail theft around noon April 1 at the police department, 112 E. Northwest Hwy.
