Drivers beware: schools are back in session In a past editorial we talked about not speeding in school zones to avoid getting school-zone traffic camera tickets. Assault — Longview police Tuesday arrested Avin Larue Minor, 55, of Longview on suspicion of first-degree domestic violence assault. Drugs — Longview police Tuesday arrested Sheldon Bryce Bringman, 58, of Vancouver on suspicion of drug possession, third-degree driving with a suspended license and a Department of Corrections hold. Escape — Cowlitz County sheriff's deputies Tuesday arrested David Charles Barry, 47, of Longview on a Department of Corrections hold, suspicion of second-degree escape, and three warrants out of Wahkiakum County. Drugs — Drug task force officers Tuesday arrested Alfonso Lopez Jr. , 28, of Kelso, on suspicion of drug possession. Theft — Kelso police Tuesday arrested Anthony Vincent Listro, 26, a transient on a warrant for felony contempt of court and suspicion of third-degree theft after he allegedly took an iPad from a house on the 200 block of Third Avenue in Kelso.
