Crystal City Police seek three from crashed, abandoned van that nearly hit house - Leader Publications
An officer responded and pursued the van to the 1000 block of North Taylor Avenue, where it crashed in a yard, narrowly missing a home, Pruneau said. “Two black males and a white female ran off,” Pruneau said. The other two have not been identified, Pruneau said. “On the passenger side, the officer found several hundred pills packaged for distribution,” Pruneau said. The vehicle, a 2003 Honda Odyssey minivan, had Oregon plates for a disabled driver. Pruneau said neither the plates nor the van was reported stolen. Officers also found two Airsoft pistols that had been altered to look like real guns, Pruneau said. He said the Airsoft guns, which shoot plastic pellets, frequently are altered by wannabe gangbangers trying to look tough. Source: www.myleaderpaper.com
