Raleigh woman killed, 3 hurt in Garner crash - WNCN

Garner Police said that the crash happened when a 2013 Freightliner box truck heading eastbound collided with a disabled 1994 Honda Accord, which was in the travel lane of US 70 east. The driver of the Honda Accord, Lenae Mary Rebecca Dew, of Raleigh, was killed in the wreck. The Freightliner box truck then crossed the median and collided with two other vehicles – a Toyota RAV 4 and a 2012 Honda Pilot, Garner Police said. The driver and passenger in the Honda Pilot were both transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Toyota and the Freightliner box truck driver were both transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said. The road reopened to all traffic around 1 p. m.
