Chapel Hill driver killed in collision on N.C. 54 - News & Observer
Thompson, 86, of 2615 Millikan Road, Chapel Hill, failed to yield the right of way as she turned left onto the highway around 9:15 a. m. from the Shell service station, according to N. C. Highway Patrol reports. Greensboro resident Guy Elise-Constant DeGent, 54, who was driving his 2012 Fiat west on N. C. 54, struck Thompson’s 2004 Honda Accord on the driver’s side.
