Warning issued about private car sales after another theft in Dundalk - Talk of the Town
A renewed warning has been issued to people selling cars on websites after the theft of another vehicle in Dundalk at the weekend. The incident happened in the Tom Bellew Avenue area at 2pm on Saturday when a grey 1991 Dublin registered Honda Civic was stolen. Gardaí are advising people selling their cars privately to arrange any test drives in a public place covered by CCTV, not to leave the vehicle unsupervised at any point and to ensure they accompany any potential buyer on the test-drive.
