Hillsboro woman dies, seven others injured in TV Highway crash - Pamplin Media Group

A 20-year-old Hillsboro woman died Tuesday evening in a seven-car collision on the Tualatin Valley Highway that injured seven other people. Washington County sheriffs deputies said Cassandra Stolzenberger died when the 1995 Honda Civic she was riding in was struck by other vehicles in the collision. Deputies said no children were hurt in the collision. Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue crews reported that three people were trapped in their crumpled vehicles after the crash. Deputies said the vehicles all had extensive damage and were scattered about 150 feet from the crash. Deputies said 45-year-old Kerry Wagner of Hillsboro was driving a 2002 GMC pickup with a trailer east at a high rate of speed when he failed to stop for a traffic light at 185th Avenue.
