The driver, Peter Glidden, 39, was speeding and driving erratically in an eastbound 2015 Ford T250 U-Haul van on Route 9 just after noon on Saturday when the U-Haul collided with oncoming traffic in the westbound lane, police said. The U-Haul swiped three other vehicles before colliding head-on with a 2012 Kia Soul around 12:15 p. m. , police said. According to police, the first vehicle struck was a westbound 2015 International Tractor Trailer, driven by Brenda Adams, 54, of Wilmington, Vt. The U-Haul van Glidden was driving, continued eastbound side-swiping a blue 2012 Honda Fit, driven by... Finally the U-Haul collided head-on into a tan 2012 Kia Soul, driven westbound in the westbound travel lane by Sherrian Quimby-Cronin, 52, of Chatham, N. Y. The three occupants in the Kia suffered life-threatening injuries, police said. The U-Haul van had reportedly traveled at a high rate of speed and erratically prior to the collision, police said.
