Recall: 2015 Ram 4500 and 5500 Control Arms - The Auto Channel (blog)
Routine testing by FCA US discovered front upper control arms on two vehicles had welds with insufficient fusion. The control arms were traced to a single lot used in vehicle production from Jan. Certain model-year 2015 Ram 4500 and 5500 Chassis Cabs assembled during this period are subject to this recall. The condition, which may be preceded by front-end vibration and/or abnormal front-tire wear, may not be present in every vehicle subject to the campaign. However, FCA US will, at no charge to customers, inspect every affected vehicle and perform service, as required.
