A Honda press release said existing Honda Fit EV lessees will have a chance to re-up their leases at a lower monthly payment of $199 — down from $259 — with zero down payment due at lease signing. The release said the offer would be extended to new customers interested in leasing a used, two-year-old Honda Fit EV as well. Environmental Business Development Office Vice President Steve Center said, “Most Fit EV drivers tell us they love their vehicles, and many have requested lease extensions and this extended lease program is intended to meet their needs. The press release said the Honda Fit EV is among the most efficient five-passenger EVs on the market, with an EPA miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) rating of 118 MPGe and an EPA-rated driving range between charges of 82 miles.
