Jefferson Parish coroner's office identifies man killed in Terrytown crash - NOLA.com

The Jefferson Parish coroner's office has identified the 88-year-old man who died following a crash in Terrytown Saturday morning (Aug. Massey, of Terrytown, died of injuries he received in the wreck, which occurred about 11:21 a. m. at the intersection of Terry Parkway and Guardian Avenue, the J efferson Parish Sheriff's Office said. Massey was driving eastbound on Guardian in a 2003 Buick Lesabre when he pulled out onto Terry Parkway, authorities said. A 21-year-old Baton Rouge man driving a 2011 Hyundai Genesis hit Massey's vehicle. Authorities also took the Baton Rouge driver to the same hospital for treatment of back injuries.
