The vacation is almost over, with many people preparing their return to work or their kids return to school – and it’s one of the best times to make a trip to the dealership to see the summer clearance deals. That’s because new car dealers are giving away cars with larger than usual incentives to clear their existing stock in anticipation of filling their inventory with the fresh batch of 2016 model year vehicles. Naturally, the best bargains can be found on models that throughout the year had slow sales – meaning this year you’ll likely see numerous fuel efficient rides, as well as more expensive hybrids and electric autos. Forbes has looked and found the models that deliver the best cash-back deals, both for drivers that want to deliver all the cash and for those who prefer the commodity of leasing one for a certain period. There are fourteen of them, four being full electrics and another five being plug-in hybrids or conventional hybrids. Also, four of them come from Ford, which has delivered some serious cash – up to $8,500 – to the electric and plug-in hybrid models and the large Taurus car.
