Police responded to the JCPenney store at Woodbridge Center mall for a report of shoplifting. Store loss prevention employees reported two adults with a child in a stroller allegedly gathered men’s and women’s clothing, removed the price tags and placed the items in a book bag under the stroller. The items total $432. The three attempted to exit the store but were stopped by store personnel. Police responded to Macy’s at Woodbridge Center for report of shoplifting. A store loss prevention employee reported he noticed a woman, later identified as Andrea Dalessandro, 28, of Toms River, walking around the women’s clothing section and then grab empty Macy’s shopping bags from behind a sales desk. Dalessandro then allegedly walked around the store selecting jewelry and clothing items before walking into the women’s changing room. Police said she exited a few minutes later with full Macy’s bags and attempted to leave the store. The homeowner told police her son had been riding his dirt bike on their property the night before until around 10:30 p. m. and then parked the dirt bike in the family’s detached garage. Around 10:30 a. m. the next day, her son went to the garage and did not see the dirt bike, didn’t say anything but thought his mother might have moved it before leaving for work at 8:45 a. m.
