Interesting–if you consider the two Ford ENERGI models (the C-MAX and Fusion) as two versions (a hatchback and a sedan) of the same vehicle, their combined sales substantially exceed any of the others except for the Tesla Model S. As a recent... Typically, over the past year or so, they’d come in #3, behind the Model S & Leaf. But July was a really poor month for the Leaf. The funny thing is, Ford didn’t try that really hard on these models. But Ford also didn’t limit production/sales and relegate these models to a few markets. They aren’t as widely available as the Leaf or S, but seem to be much more available than most compliance cars. Source: gas2.org
