She co-owns the store with Dick Popp, who co-founded the hardware business with Peterson’s late father, Dennis, in 1978. Back then, the store was a Coast to Coast and it was located in Moorhead’s Holiday Mall. It moved to its current location, at 20 6th St. S. , in 1990. Peterson keeps her office in the back of the business very utilitarian – the electrical panel for the store is behind her head – and she shares the space with Popp, along with a table...
