— King County Sheriff’s detectives are now searching for a pickup truck that may be related to a crime after a body was found a week ago at SeaTac’s Sunset Park. SeaTac police were called to the park on the morning of August 9 by a resident who found the body near the entrance. Sheriff’s detectives are investigating this as a possible homicide based on how the body was found and apparent signs of trauma to the victim. The vehicle detectives are seeking is a gray 2008 Nissan Frontier, 4-door pickup truck, with Washington license plates C49148B. The pickup truck has taken numerous design cues from its crossover siblings across the automaker’s offer, has bundled numerous new technologies such as NissanConnect, the Aroudn View Moniter and LED headlights. The manufacturer warranty is of five years or 100,000 miles and completely new 2. 3 litre dCi engine has two power options – 160 or 190 PS – and maximizes performances while lowering fuel consumption and emissions. Playing in the one-tonne pick-up sector, the new NP300 Navara comes with Nissan’s 80-year-old experience in producing pickups. Load carrying and towing has been improved as well: payload ratings surge past the one tonne mark across the lineup and the towing capacity is of 3. 5 tonnes. 1 Dead, 1 Critical After Pickup Truck Collides With Motorcycle in Canoga Park ... - KTLA

The male driver of a pickup truck was in custody Saturday morning after a hit-and-run crash in Canoga Park left one motorcycle rider dead and another in critical condition, police said. A caller reported the collision about 3:40 a. m. at the intersection of De Soto Avenue and Saticoy Street, said Detective Bill Bustos of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division. Investigators determined that a black Nissan truck was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed on Saticoy when it veered onto the wrong side of the road and collided with a motorcycle that was making a left turn, Bustos said. The truck’s windshield was damaged and its front grill was recovered at the scene, Bustos said. A debris field later led to the vehicle and the truck driver, who was being questioned by investigators, police said. Source: ktla.com
