2016 Scion iA and iM Introduction - ChicagoNow (blog)

Beginning its 12th year on the market, Scion strives to stay relevant. Now with a large number of vehicles to choose from-many from other countries, Scion's reason for being is not as relevant. Aiming to offer distinctive products and a unique buying process ("no haggle"), Scion was going after the under 35-year-olds market demographic. Now, as Group V. P. Doug Murtha stated, the iM and iA vehicles will be aimed at a slightly different group: Both 35-50-year-olds and the 50-year-old and over market. A beautiful and accommodating city, Grand Rapids seemed a good choice to introduce the scion iA and iM. On the Forbes lit of desirable cities to live, Grand Rapids offers a straight shot to the best of Michigan: Holland, the Dunes and northern... Teamed up with my trusty driving partner, George, we were lost in/out of Grand Rapids. First of all, we left the hotel later than the rest of the group because I left my glasses-and room key-in the room. I can’t recall now how many times this happened, but trust me, more times than should have happened. We wasted over 30 minutes just trying to leave Grand Rapids. It would easier-and less of a character assassination to say we were lost over and over due to the way Grand Rapids and surrounding areas are laid out. Source: www.chicagonow.com
