OCONOMOWOC (WITI) — Officials from the city of Oconomowoc say a 77-year-old woman died after being struck while crossing the street near E. Wisconsin Ave and S. Cross St. in Oconomowoc. The accident happened at approximately 4:31 p. m. Saturday, May 23rd. Preliminary investigation indicates that a 2001 Ford pickup truck, operated by a 38-year-old man, turned left onto Cross Street from westbound E. Wisconsin Avenue and struck a... Waldorf sustained significant head injuries and was pronounced dead at approximately 6 p. m. Saturday evening at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.
