Joseph Macaluso was assiting another officer near the Holland Tunnel in Jersey City when a Dodge Ram pickup nearly sideswiped his patrol car and abruptly stopped at a red light at 14th Street and Jersey Avenue, the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo... In the open truck bed he spotted the bicycle. A DMV check found that Jose Angel Perez-Luna, 31, of Tannsersville, PA had been cited in Virginia for driving without a license. Perez-Luna was arrested on charges of receiving stolen property, failing to move over for a marked police vehicle, careless driving, driving while suspended and driving without a license.
