BAY CITY, MI — A 75-year-old Ohio man, riding in a Jeep Grand Cherokee that crashed on Interstate 75 in Bay County this week, has died, according to police. Bay County Undersheriff Troy Cunningham said Jerry Sloane succumbed to his injuries at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw the evening of Thursday, Aug. Police said Sloane was traveling in the front passenger seat when the black 2001 Jeep crashed on I-75 about noon on Wednesday, Aug. The vehicle also contained three other adults and six children, none of whom were wearing seat belts or riding in car seats, Cunningham said. As of Friday afternoon, the three other adults in the vehicle — a 26-year-old woman who was driving, her 27 year-old fiancé who was in the passenger seat behind her and a 26-year-old woman who was in the cargo area of the Jeep with all six...
