The crash happened just after 8 p. m. Witnesses told police a gold-colored 1999 Chevrolet Lumina LTZ was traveling westbound on University Drive when it began to skid as it entered a curve. The Chevrolet Lumina crossed left of center into oncoming traffic and hit a 2010 Kia Sportage MP that was traveling eastbound on University Drive. Chris Justin Wilson, the driver of the Chevrolet Lumina, was taken to Moses H. Cone Hospital in Greensboro for treatment. The driver of the Kia Sportage was extracted from the vehicle and taken to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. Her two passengers were taken were taken to Moses H. Cone Hospital for treatment.
