2004 Defender 90 Td5: Computer created Classic - Land Rover Owner International Magazine

I’m in the media business – I’m what you’d call a creative, but now I run my own company called Fantastic Media. We deal with Premier League footballers, people like that, international names, so my cars were Overfinch Range Rovers. They’re very nice, but I felt it was time for something completely different – a change, something simpler. First it went to Parkside Garage in Huddersfield – they’re all ex-Land Rover technicians there. Then it went to Impact Bodyshop at Brighouse – they’re approved repairers for Land Rover. We look after the marketing for Impact and they were wanting a new website designed, so we did that for them and they sprayed the Land Rover. We looked at a lot of colours and finally plumped for traditional green and cream. Actually, in the end the paint colours were my daughter Holly’s choice – she was 14 at the time. It has modern twists like the LED lights, a new bonnet and a colour-coded grille and mirrors. The LRX grille gives the Land Rover a really chunky look – some people don’t like them, apparently, but I think it works well with the bonnet and everything else on the vehicle. I drive it to work and use it for shooting, taking rubbish to the tip, driving to the coast – it can do everything. Source: www.lro.com
