Hartford woman accused of fleeing police in stolen car - MLive.com

VAN BUREN COUNTY, MI – A 37-year-old Hartford woman faces charges after police say she led them on a chase Saturday afternoon in an apparently stole car. Van Buren County Sheriff's deputies said they recovered a 2007 Mitsubishi Galant that was reported stolen from the Kalamazoo Area. Sheriff's Deputy Randy Whitmore reported that he was led on a car chase after he tried to stop a car in the 66000 block of County Road-681 in Keeler Township in Van Buren County. The driver was arrested for fleeing and eluding police, possession of a stolen vehicle, and obstructing police. She was being held at the Van Buren County Jail.
