'Homefront: The Revolution' Delayed to 2016 - Game Rant

When developer Kaos Studios first unveiled 2011’s Homefront, gamers were excited that the developer had hired a big name movie screenwriter, John Milius of Apocalypse Now and Red Dawn fame, to pen the game’s story. However, while Milius and Homefront successfuly created something fresh and different in the FPS space, the game suffered from a number of bugs that ultimately tanked its review scores. Homefront: The Revolution takes place in Philadelphia, in an alternate reality where North Korea has held the United States under marital law for the past four years. There will be a single-player campaign and as well as a four-player online co-op mode. The original Homefront had traditional FPS multiplayer, but it is not yet clear if that mode will return in The Revolution. Given that the first game’s biggest shortcoming is that it had way too many bugs, it’s encouraging that Deep Silver is making sure that The Revolution is done right. Source: gamerant.com
