My uncle had a more macho interest in German cars via a number of high power BMW’s and of course, the quintessential 80’s goodness that could be found in his red Porsche 944 Turbo. From a young age I could remember that I wanted to be able to own my very own Porsche before I turned 30. The 911 was the target and, quite obviously, the one to have.
