Arnold Clark to the rescue with Toyota Hilux - Scottish Daily Record

ARNOLD CLARK bosses have donated an “indestructible car” to the Trossachs Search and Rescue Team (TSAR) thanks to Twitter. So they gave TSAR a Toyota Hilux that TV’s Top Gear dubbed “indestructible” five years ago after they dropped it from a tower block and it survived. The donated Hilux is renowned for its strength in all conditions plus its versatility, which is perfect for a rescue service. Arnold Clark managing director Eddie Hawthorne said: “We are thrilled to be able to get the Trossachs team back on the road with our donated Hilux. “We wish the Trossachs Search and Rescue Team all the best with their future search and rescue operations. TSAR also supports local communities and is working closely with the Scottish Ambulance Service and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. The outfit is divided into three sub-organisations – a teaching unit with the support of the British Heart Foundation (the Heartstart Trossachs Search & Rescue), a training unit for the local people in association with the Scottish Ambulance...
