TOYOTA IS preparing to stage the official debut of the 2016 Toyota HiLux tomorrow (21 May) and Practical Motoring will be in attendance. While it will be great to finally see the HiLux in the metal, the Internet has been awash with spy images of the HiLux and leaked engine details for months now. Published on Thailand-based forum and Facebook page Hilux Revo Thailand come these interior and exterior shots of a production-spec HiLux. They are: 2016 Toyota Hilux 2. 4 AT: 2. 4-liter four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with Toyota’s VNT (Variable Nozzle Turbo) technology. The current 2. 7-litre engine punches out 117kW and 240Nm. 2016 Toyota Hilux 2. 8 MT: 2. 8-liter four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with Toyota’s VNT (Variable Nozzle Turbo) technology.
