An exhibit of photographs by Naomi Vanderkindren, "Paramnesia" is scheduled from today (Aug. 28 in Louie-Meager Art Gallery at Ohlone College's Smith Center, 43600 Mission Blvd. The series presents photos using 19th century photographic techniques to create a unique blend of old and new images. Gallery hours are 11 a. m. -4 p. m. Mondays and Wednesdays, 10 a. m. -3 p. m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and by appointment. Admission is free and parking is $4. Fremont-based Drivers For Survivors offers transportation and support for cancer patients. Also based in Fremont, Boldly Me provides inspiration, support, education, guidance, counseling for individuals and their support system. Guests of honor are expected to include Fremont Mayor Bill Harrison and Union City Mayor Carol Dutra-Vernaci. As part of "Tech Tuesday," a "Fun with Snap Circuits" presentation, for ages 8-12, is scheduled from 4:30—5:30 p. m.
