The show, co-sponsored by the Friends of LaSalle Street and Roosevelt-Aurora American Legion Post 84, was dedicated to local veterans and their families. Aug 29: The Algonquin Twilight Cruise In, 4-8 p. m. , on Main Street Algonquin between Washington Street and Algonquin Road. Sponsored by the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce. Show vehicles enter the event at Main and Washington streets. All show cars, trucks and motorcycles welcome. 30: Third annual American Pride Nights Car Show, Schaumburg. Join the Lone Wolves car club for raffles, entertainment, food. Open to all clubs, cars trucks and bikes. 6: Skip's Fiesta car Show and Swap meet, 8 a. m. to 3 p. m. , McHenry County Fairgrounds, 11900 County Club Road, Woodstock. Preshow car registration fee, $15 outside, $20 inside. 11-13: The Ephraim Hill Climb and Concours d'Elegance, part of the Ephraim Vintage Festival in Door County, Wisconsin. Hill climb and concours presented in association with CLASS, the Vintage Sportscar Club, and the Concours d'Elegance of Chicago.
