10 : At 10:10 a. m. , police responded to a two-vehicle accident of 10th Avenue and Fourth Street Southwest. Chicon Barche, 40, of Independence, was stopped at the red light in a 2012 Toyota Prius and was waiting to turn south onto Fourth Street when Jessica Lynn Scherburne, 25, of Shell Rock, approached in a 2003 Ford Focus SE Comfort. Sherburne thought that Chicon Barche was going to make her turn but then rear ended the Prius, causing minor damage to both vehicles. , police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of West Bremer Avenue and Sixth Street Northwest.
