2015 Chevy SS - The Advocate

While its four doors and design certainly aren’t comparable to the Camaro’s, the Chevy SS does take an aggressive posture with its raised tail, rear deck spoiler and dual exhausts. The Chevy SS has about a 50-50 weight distribution front to rear, as well as a low center of gravity, giving it confidence and surefootedness on the road. Chevy also adds its trademark Magnetic Ride Control as standard equipment this year in the SS, smoothing out potholes and other road irregularities. That’s not to say the SS has a soft ride. Rear Brembo brakes have been standard equipment in the SS, but this year Chevy adds Front Brembo brakes standard as well. 2-liter V8 engine in the SS develops 415 horsepower and sends 415 lb. -ft. of torque to the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission. The front hood and rear deck and spoiler of the 2015 Chevy SS are aluminum, helping to make the car lighter. For the record, the 2015 Chevy SS is EPA rated at 15 miles per gallon in the city and 21 mpg on the highway. The SS has standard 19-inch forged aluminum wheels and ultra-high-performance Bridgestone tires. Inside the 5-passenger cabin, the SS has premium materials and the “SS” logo embroidered on the seatbacks and a faux-suede section of the dashboard. Source: theadvocate.com
