Fast forward to May of this year, and Ford reported selling half a million Ecoboost F-150s, and now 45 percent of F-150s are equipped with the technology. In the new 2015 Ford F-150 , a second EcoBoost offering has even been introduced, the twin-turbo 2. 7-liter V-6. . I'm a completly satisfied Ecoboost owner, love the power and gas mpg. All of the Ford haters are absent for now, they are bashing Ford's move to aluminum body panels. Ford is truly an outstanding leader in new innovation and state of the art technology. all comparisons use Ford as the benchmark and criticize them for moving forward. Eventually Ford's competition will be touting how much better their aluminum trucks and their V6 turbocharged engines are,and whatever else they will copy from Ford.
