governor: Topless women in Times Square break law New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo says women posing nearly naked for photos in Times Square are breaking the law and undermining efforts to keep the tourist area family friendly. com/story/news/2015/08/22/times-square-topless/32177743/ A mama bear and her five cubs decided to beat the heat in a New Jersey backyard pool. Tim Basso posted a video online showing the bears climbing into his family’s above-ground pool, tumbling out of it, dragging around pool toys and climbing on a slide and swing set. Basso said his 3- and 5-year-old daughters weren’t eager to share their toys. One of the girls can be heard on the video crying out “No. ” as a cub grabs an inflatable toy. The family watched the bears from inside the safety of their Rockaway Township home. Basso says he thought the bears would stop only briefly for a drink but ended up frolicking for nearly an hour. Colorado State Patrol Trooper G. A. Villavicencio says he has dealt with sheep and cows on roadways, but never pigs. Ball State says it was the second time in three years that a student has made a half-court shot to win tuition for a semester. The other student did it in August 2013.
