Police arrest stabbing suspect - Marquette Mining Journal

- A fatal stabbing suspect that police had been searching for overnight in Chippewa County is now in custody, said officials from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Department Saturday afternoon. Marie Police Department responded to reports of a stabbing at 7 p. m. at 301 W. 24th Ave. Marie, according to a press release issued by the department. When officers arrived on the scene they located an adult male victim with multiple stab wounds. Witnesses to the stabbing identified the suspect, a 55-year-old male, who fled the scene in a red 1995 Ford F150 pickup, prior to officers' arrival. The police began searched for the suspect with aid from the Michigan State Police, Chippewa County Sheriff's Department, Border Patrol, the Sault Tribe Law Enforcement Department, Bay Mills Tribal Police, Michigan Department of Corrections...
