'Husker who killed raccoon with a wrench has truck stolen - NBCSports.com

Jack Gangwish drew the ire of PETA this past December when, after taking a selfie with a raccoon he spotted on the side of a road, he killed the critter with a wrench after it bit him and reported the developments on social media. According to the Lincoln Journal Star , Gangwish’s black 1996 Ford F-250 pickup, the same vehicle that drove him to the raccoon encounter, was stolen at some point between 8 p. m. Saturday evening and 7 a. m. Sunday morning. Gangwish had reported the vehicle stolen shortly after he discovered it was missing. In his first action since coming to NU in 2011 as a walk-on, Gangwish played in 12 games last season. Provided he can make it through what’s left of the offseason unscathed, Gangwish is expected to start along the Cornhuskers’ defensive line. Source: collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com
