Customizing Touches and Fixing Bullet Holes - Hot Rod Network

I have a 1965 Ford truck, which I want to customize. I don't have a problem with doing the repair work, but I want to make some modifications to the body to make my truck truly unique. Outside of chopping the top and de-chroming, I haven't seen many trucks of this type that have been extensively customized. Your truck has a pretty classic design, and I have only seen a few which were radically restyled. I went to the Detroit Autorama this year, and I did see a truck similar to yours, which had some cutting-edge modifications unlike any I'd seen before. Of course, if you want your truck to be unique, I don't suggest that you copy what another person has done, but we can all be inspired by the work of others. You would probably want to make the size and shape of this a bit different to make it your own, but I really like the idea of taking some bodylines that are already there, and taking off from there. While the headlight bezels appear to be stock, they have quite a different look because of the completely original, contemporary looking grille that butts against them. The front bumper appears to be custom fabricated, too, and I really like the trapezoidal openings in them, and the air dam that follows the stepped and angled bottom edge of the bumper.
