This is a super-rare OEM Ford logo blank to fit Ford Courier pick-ups from 1974 through 1981 with in dash ignitions.
This blank will work as a replacement for the above makes with the following key part numbers: MZ5 or X5. If your keys have one of these codes on them, you have the right key. If not, compare the grooves of your key vs. the pictures closely as they must match exactly. Couriers used two possible master keys during this time period. If your original key has a key code between 1500 and 1999, then this is the correct key. This blank has the grooves down the LEFT side of the key blade. Ford Courier also used a MZ4 key that is similar but reverse, with the grooves running down the RIGHT side of the key. See pic #3 for differences between 1970's Ford Courier truck keys. Sorry, I only have the OEM Logo style blank in the X5 version with the groove down the LEFT.
