Truck review: 2015 Ford F-150 XLT Supercab - The Salinas Californian

I recently had the chance to spend a week with a 2015 Ford 150 XLT pickup truck and I have to admit I was surprised by my reaction to the vehicle. I really don't have any reason to buy a pickup and I don't see myself in the market for one anytime soon. But if you are I think you test this truck and really get to know it. Then I think you should buy it. No, really, it's that good folks. The beautiful ruby red XLT 4x4 Supercab I got to test was just plain fun to drive. The onboard electronics at the XLT trim level provides just about every trick and toy that you'd want, inlcuding a super sound system and an easy-to-use navigation and media screen. My tester delivered an industry-leading best towing and payload capability among full-size pickups. The F-150 can tow an amazing 12,200 pounds and haul 3,300 pounds. Ford says all of its F-150s are lighter and basically stronger than previous model years due to the use of high-strength steel in the frame and high-strength, military-grade, aluminum alloy in the body. Together that helps Ford which deliver 20 percent better gas mileage over the 2014 F-150. New technologies mean smartest F-150 ever. Source: www.thecalifornian.com
