2011 Acura ZDX Advance, an Autoweek Drivers Log Car Review - AutoWeek

EXECUTIVE EDITOR BOB GRITZINGER: When driving a vehicle such as this 2011 Acura ZDX Advance, it's hard to figure why Honda's luxury division has seemingly slipped off the luxury-buyer radar. And thankfully, the ZDX Advance is fitted with excellent rear and blind-spot detection systems that help the driver "see" into those critical spaces. If you can live with the tighter cargo confines for that styling statement, everything else about the ZDX is dynamite. Acura interior work is right up there with Audi in my book, and I think that attribute gets overlooked to Acura's detriment. Not everyone is going to gravitate to the ZDX, but for those few who do, they know they'll not see one in every driveway and grocery-store parking lot. EXECUTIVE EDITOR ROGER HART: The ZDX is another one of those cars, like the BMW X6, that answers a question few people were asking. That's the strange thing: I'm really put off by the looks, but the way this thing drives is actually amazing. I've become a fan of Acura's all-wheel-drive system and the way it vectors the torque around the axles to the wheels with the most grip. And from the first minutes of driving, the thing feels like it's built like a tank. Source: autoweek.com
