Family Of 4 Displaced After Car Crash Sparks House Fire A car crash sparked a house fire in Winston-Salem Wednesday morning. Officials say it happened just around 2:41am when a car hit a light pole on the 3000 of Rosie Street. Officials say the car struck a utility pole in the 3000 block of Rosie Street, causing power lines to hit Melissa Enriquez's home and start the fire. Then my mom opened the door and she saw there was flames coming out of the power lines," said Enriquez. "It makes me feel mad," said Enriquez. Family and friends spent much of Wednesday cleaning out the house and salvaging as many items as they could. We are going to find a way to get back on our feet to try to find something," said Enriquez. Police charged the driver, Joanne Johnson Brewster, with DWI, Hit and Run, and Open Container. Police say Ms. Brewster was not hurt in the accident. She didn't bother to see if she did any harm to anybody," said Enriquez.
