In an example of the increasingly symbiotic relationships between car companies and filmmakers, Aston Martin has unveiled a special Bond edition DB9 sports car to coincide with the release of Spectre , the 24th installment in the 007 franchise. Aston Martin hand-built 10 examples of a new model, the DB-10, exclusively for use in Spectre. There was speculation that the DB10 might ultimately enter production as a replacement for the DB9 or Vantage models.
