Rare Bentley tops car auction at £56000 - Blackmore Vale Magazine
A 1998 Bentley was the top lot at the Charterhouse auction of classic cars in the auction on Sunday 19th July, when it sold for £56,000. “The Bentley we sold was a very special Bentley, being one of just 100 limited edition Mulliner Bentleys... With live internet bidding and buyers from across Europe participating in the auction - and a strong market Charterhouse sold £450,000 of classic and vintage cars. Also performing well was a brace of Jaguar E Types, selling for £58,000 and £45,000. a 1972 VW bay window camper van £20,000. a 1963 Glas Goggomobil TS250 microcar £11,000. a 1954 Riley RME, garage stored for decades and with no paperwork, £5,200... Charterhouse is now accepting further entries for the programme of summer auctions including silver, jewellery, watches and wine in Wednesday 26th August, followed by classic motorcycles on Friday 4th September and classic cars on Wednesday 16th...
