Despite being less powerful than the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG which it replaces, the new Mercedes-AMG GT S has proven itself time and time again to actually be quicker than its predecessor both in a straight line and around a race track. On paper, the twin-turbocharged 4. 0-litre V8 engine of the RS7 Sportback has the power advantage with 560 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque on tap.
