Russian-Driven Bentley Stranded on a Beach Gets the Rescue Tractor Stuck - Video - autoevolution

We've always said Bentley has been preparing us for the introduction of the Bentayga ever since the first Continental GT rolled off the line back in 2013. With the generous ground clearance of its models, even the Mulsanne can get you over gravel... These are the kind of drivers who get Bentleys stuck on muddy trails or on beaches and we're here to show you the latest such example. Over the weekend, a Continental Flying Spur got stranded on Marazion beach, near Penzance, in Cornwall, UK. The lavish sedan had been driven onto the sand by a young Russian owner. For instance, the Bentley's towing eye snapped, as the tractor was trying to pull the heavy car through the sand at a generous angle. While the clip below doesn't show us the part where the Bentley gets to return to the road, we do see plenty of offroading action. Painful offroading action, that is - We wouldn't underestimate the damage caused by spending some hours swimming in the sand. Unfortunately, this is the kind of driver who might just do the same thing with a Bentayga, as we've seen many cases of SUVs being taken to places that were basically obvious traps to any common sense subscriber.
