2010 Buick Enclave CXL-2, an AW Drivers Log - AutoWeek

EDITOR WES RAYNAL: This is a good vacation/hauling-stuff vehicle. Good size, good quality, nice and quiet on the road. There's a ton of room in back, especially with the third-row seats folded. The interior is nicely done, and let me repeat how quiet this baby is on the road. For example, I'd skip the second-row console and go with a bench back there and save a little that way. Even then it's about $8,000 more than Mazda's CX-9, which drives better and offers a slightly bigger third row. COPY EDITOR CYNTHIA L. OROSCO: This Enclave is a beauty of a vehicle--maybe not on the outside, where the lines are nice but nothing spectacular--but definitely inside the cabin. The big, clear navigation screen offered a great backup view, and the HVAC and cooled seats kept us chilled on a rather hot evening. The Enclave soaks up road imperfections and makes for smooth sailing. And, while the second-row console opens up a bit more room, a bench would be just fine there. I was surprised to see the third row of seats. Not sure about legroom back there, but with those seats folded, you do get good cargo space. NEWS EDITOR GREG MIGLIORE: The Enclave immediately strikes me as luxury level. Source: autoweek.com
