1 dead, 2 injured in Sevier County crash - WATE 6 On Your Side

SEVIERVILLE (WATE) – An Alabama man was killed and two others injured in a two car crash on Interstate 40 Monday morning that caused the highway to close for several hours. The accident was reported at around 10:00 a. m near mile marker 409 on Interstate 40. According to Sevierville police, a 2002 Cadillac Seville STS driven by Barry E. Myers, 61, of Bulls Gap, was going east when it swerved across the grassy median... Police say Campbell’s passenger, Michael A. Campbell, 55, also of Mobile, Alabama, was killed in the crash. Myers was also transported to University of Tennessee Medical Center. Accident reconstruction officers say it appears Myers’ Cadillac hit a guardrail on I-40 eastbound just before crossing the median. Source: wate.com
